Doctors Hauwa, doctors. We too hate public holidays because people misbehave and if you're at emergency your name is sorry!!! From accidents to complications of eating nonsense and drinking too much to those who now have time to come with non urgent complaints because they're home from work and know we have no lives and will be at work. And the frustration of watching people sit at home from Friday to Monday whilst you work with no break sometimes and worse still you may be on call or 12 hours duty!!! Then they'll still insult you ontop and mad people will still want you to be cherry and smiley at the 10th hour of a long 12 hours or 24 hours shift. No I don't like public holidays too it's extra stress. Ok I'm done ranting ✌️
How familiar I am with this situation with the holidays and how they go for freelancers Some of my freelancer friends get depressed during the holidays, now I understand why. Thanks for the clarification!
Public holiday is always a mess someone living abroad might get this.
During the recent holidays, as a sales assistant these people especially kids get into shop mess up everything and leave!!!! unlike my country where you can tell this kids off but here you cant tell anybody off even when you see them doing it.

I’m indifferent to public holidays as an entrepreneur (i sell sugar free zobo drink) cos everyday is the same to me.
Not much work for me yet cos i just started. I wake up and be like, “oh, today is Monday. Who and who am I supplying today?”
